First look at the eighth installment of the Saw franchise.
The horror genre is in great shape at the moment, with the likes of It Comes at Night and Get Out garnering critical acclaim this year, but it's not so long ago it was dominated by found footage and torture porn, sub-genres not so beloved of critics.
A new Saw movie was a fixture every October for several years running, and now an eighth installment, Jigsaw, is lined up to revive the tradition this Halloween - October 27th in UK/ROI to be precise.
Aussie duo The Spierig Brothers direct, with Tobin Bell, Mandela Van Peebles and Laura Vandervoort starring.
The official synopsis reads:
One of the highest grossing Horror franchises of all time is back, taking the Jigsaw killer’s signature brand of twisted scenarios to the next level.
