New trailer and special IMAX poster for the latest Marvel adventure.
Marvel's first female led superhero movie, Captain Marvel, starring Brie Larson in the title role, comes to cinemas in March, when it will also receive a special IMAX release, as highlighted in the above new poster. On IMAX screens, key sequences will expand the screen by 26% more screen space than you'll see in regular cinemas.
Along with the IMAX poster, a brand new trailer has arrived, which you can check out below.
Captain Marvel is in UK/ROI cinemas and IMAX March 8th.
The official synopsis reads:
Set in the 1990s, Marvel Studios’ “Captain Marvel” is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that follows the journey of Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes. While a galactic war between two alien races reaches Earth, Danvers finds herself and a small cadre of allies at the center of the maelstrom.
