Fox Searchlight Pictures have revealed the first international trailer and poster for the adaptation of Daphne du Maurier’s acclaimed novel.
Daphne Du Maurier's novel, My Cousin Rachel, was previously filmed in 1952 with Olivia de Havilland in the title role. A new version from director Roger Michell casts Rachel Weisz opposite Sam Claflin in a period tale of lust and paranoia. The film is in UK/ROI cinemas June 9th.
The official synopsis reads:
A dark romance, MY COUSIN RACHEL tells the story of a young Englishman who plots revenge against his mysterious, beautiful cousin, believing that she murdered his guardian. But his feelings become complicated as he finds himself falling under the beguiling spell of her charms.
