Horror's most iconic clown is back!
Director Andrés Muschietti (Mama) brings his adaptation of Stephen King's It to cinemas on September 8th.
The unenviable task of donning the clown makeup previously worn by Tim Curry for a 1990 TV mini-series falls to actor Bill Skarsgard in the role of the villainous Pennywise. Curry's performance is likely the reason so many people of a certain generation claim to suffer from coulrophobia, the fear of clowns.

The official synopsis reads:
When children begin to disappear in the town of Derry, Maine, a group of young kids are faced with their biggest fears when they square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.
A UK and US trailer have both been released. Both trailers are identical except for a curiously subtle difference in the music.
