Victoria chats about her ongoing role in horror comedy series Killjoy and her future projects.

She has appeared in over 110 Film & TV productions & counting. She is best known for her creation & portrayal of the sexy demon succubus clown, "Batty Boop" from the horror/comedy feature series, Killjoy, which will be available as an action figure resin doll statue courtesy of Full Moon Collectibles worldwide September 2017.

The Killjoy movies have become quite a phenomenon. Are you surprised by that?
No, I'm not surprised at all. Full Moon Features has had a stellar worldwide fan base for decades & when filmmaker John Lechago came into writing & directing the feature film series Killjoy people noticed. Killjoy 3 aka Killjoy's Revenge was called one of the 10 best independent films of 2010. Quite an accomplishment for a B-movie and the only horror film on that top 10 list.
Did you base your character in those films on anyone in particular?
No. I created "Batty Boop" from scratch - her voice, behaviour, swagger, and attitude were all pure "Batty".
How fun are the costumes you get to wear?
Well, I actually prefer the "less is more" approach when it comes to wardrobe. One of my favourite characters to play so far was just body paint, a wig, gloves, boots, and a boa. The iconic "Batty Boop", of course.
Do you remember the first review you got for the character?
Yes! I don't remember who said it, but it was basically that "Batty Boop" was the reason to see the film!
Which of the Killjoy films do you enjoy the most?
It's a tie between Killjoy Goes To Hell and Killjoy's Psycho Circus. But, shooting Killjoy's Revenge in China will always have a special place in my heart!
Tell us about working with Charles Band.
It's a blast. He wasn't on set every day, but he loves "Batty Boop"!
How is it working on small productions like Killjoy 3 to something bigger like Deadpool?
They're not the same at all. Money makes every difference. Your preparation of your work and character is the same, but you get one or two takes, three at the very most per scene. Huge budget studio films have the money that allows them the time to take 10 whole days to shoot one scene, in some cases, with as many takes as necessary - 56, 97, whatever. My performance as "Batty Boop" in all three films was 99.9% One Take!!
You’re an extremely brave actress. Have you ever said ‘no’ to something?
I said "No" once on a short film where the director wanted another actor to actually throw me through a real sliding glass door in an attack scene.
What’s the boldest thing you’ve ever done on screen?
Playing a female lead character in a feature film series that is completely nude and body painted.
Is there a movie, or sequence within one, that you’ve absolutely loved?
I love my performance as "Batty Boop" in all three films, as well as my performance as "Virtue" in the short comedy The Do Over. And, my performance in an upcoming Corky Quakenbush film I unfortunately can't say anything about just yet.
Can I ask you about a couple of your upcoming projects: State of Desolation and 13 Girls?
Yes, State Of Desolation is an upcoming zombie apocalypse feature that I can't wait to see come out because I'm almost unrecognisable in the film. I mean, I didn't even recognise myself in the trailer. 13 Girls is a demon possession feature still currently in pre-production. Both films were written and directed by the phenomenal Jim Towns. I was actually cast first in 13 Girls, which ended up leading me to being offered a role in State Of Desolation.
