First look at the latest from the controversial Argentine filmmaker.
Much like how Hollywood filmmakers claim they make their movies for the 'fans', not the critics, those working in the arthouse realm regularly react to negative reviews by exclaiming that they set out to cause offence and ruffle feathers. There's no greater proponent of this nonsense than the French based Argentine filmmaker Gaspar Noé (Irreversible; Enter the Void; Love), as you can see from the above poster for his latest, no doubt 'edgy' offering, Climax.
As annoying and immature a personality as Noé may be, his films are always worth a watch, and we'd be lying if we said the below trailer for Climax, which premieres at Cannes this week, didn't have us intrigued.
