Matthew Holness's chiller comes to cinemas in October.
Ahead of its screening at Arrow Video FrightFest on August 27th, a trailer has been released for Possum, a psychological thriller from Garth Merenghi's Darkplace creator Matthew Holness.
Mission Impossible's Sean Harris stars as a disgraced puppeteer who returns to his childhood home with the intent of destroying a puppet that once menaced him as a child. Once home however he must also confront his stepfather (Alun Armstrong).
Possum is in UK cinemas October 26th.

The official synopsis reads:
The story follows disgraced children’s puppeteer PHILIP (Sean Harris), returning to his childhood home of Fallmarsh, Norfolk, intent on destroying Possum, a hideous puppet he keeps hidden inside a brown leather bag. When his attempts fail, Philip is forced to confront his sinister stepfather MAURICE (Alun Armstrong) in an effort to escape the dark horrors of his past.
