New trailer for Corbet's music industry set drama.
Actor turned director Brady Corbet follows up his striking directorial debut, The Childhood of a Leader, with Vox Lux, which stars Natalie Portman as a pop star struggling with various scandals.
Jude Law, Raffey Cassidy, Stacy Martin, Christopher Abbott and Jennifer Ehle also star. Corbet reteams with his Childhood of a Leader composer Scott Walker, with Portman's songs written by Sia.
Vox Lux doesn't have a UK/ROI release date yet, but you can check out the new US trailer below.
The official synopsis reads:
VOX LUX begins in 1999 when teenage sisters Celeste (Raffey Cassidy) and Eleanor (Stacy Martin) survive a seismic, violent tragedy. The sisters compose and perform a song about their experience, making something lovely and cathartic out of catastrophe - while also catapulting Celeste to stardom. By 2017, the now 31-year-old Celeste (Natalie Portman) is mother to a teenage daughter of her own and struggling to navigate a career fraught with scandals when another act of terrifying violence demands her attention.
