A teaser poster has been released for the upcoming Child's Play reboot.
While original Child's Play creator Don Mancini is taking his franchise to TV, the big screen will host a reboot of the series with a new movie directed by Lars Klevberg arriving next year.
As with the 1988 original, Child's Play sees a mother (Aubrey Plaza) give her young son (Gabriel Bateman) the gift of a doll for his birthday, with no doubt horrific results. It seems however that the iconic Chucky may be replaced here by a new doll. Beatrice Kitsos, Ty Consiglio and Brian Tyree Henry also star.
Details of a UK/ROI release have yet to be revealed, but the first poster for the US release of June 21st, 2019, has been unveiled. Check it out below.
