With London's Gatwick airport suffering unprecedented disruption due to apparent sightings of a drone recently, it's a timely release for the first trailer for The Drone, the new techno thriller form Zombeavers director Jordan Rubin.
Alex Essoe and John Brotherton play a pair of newlyweds who find themselves targeted by a drone possessed by the spirit of a dead serial killer.
Anita Briem, Neil Sandilands, Rex Linn, Simon Rex, Sam Adegoke and Christopher Matthew Cook also star.
The Drone has yet to find distribution, but you can check out the first trailer below.
The official synopsis reads:
A serial killer transfers his consciousness into a consumer drone right before he is killed, then flies off to terrorize newlyweds Rachel (ALEX ESSOE) and Chris (JOHN BROTHERTON). The couple must fight to stop the insidious device before it destroys them both.
