Tilda Swinton teams up with her daughter for Hogg's latest drama.
A critical hit when it premiered at Sundance earlier this year, The Souvenir, the latest from writer-director Joanna Hogg (Exhibition; Archipelago), sees Tilda Swinton appear alongside her daughter, Honor Swinton Byrne. The latter plays a young artist who falls for an attractive but untrustworthy man (Tom Burke).
The Souvenir is the first part of a planned two-part story, and the cast also features Richard Ayoade, Jack McMullen and Frankie Wilson.
A UK/ROI release date has yet to be announced but US cinema-goers can catch The Souvenir May 17th.

The official synopsis reads:
A shy but ambitious film student (Honor Swinton Byrne) begins to find her voice as an artist while navigating a turbulent courtship with a charismatic but untrustworthy man (Tom Burke). She defies her protective mother (Tilda Swinton) and concerned friends as she slips deeper and deeper into an intense, emotionally fraught relationship that comes dangerously close to destroying her dreams.
