A throwback trailer for the controversial sequel.
Meir Zarchi's 1978 rape/revenge shocker I Spit on Your Grave, in which Camille Keaton plays a woman who takes bloody revenge on the men who violated her, has divided viewers regarding whether it's a cynical and exploitative piece of misogynistic trash or a feminist classic.
41 years later, Zarchi returns with an official sequel - I Spit on Your Grave: Deja Vu.
In the sequel, Keaton returns, with genre fave Jamie Bernadette playing her daughter as they battle the relations of the men killed by Keaton in the first movie.
The film is currently on DVD and blu-ray in the US and a new grindhouse style trailer has been released, which you can check out below.
The official synopsis reads:
I Spit On Your Grave Deja Vu sends now successful writer Jennifer Hills (Camille Keaton) hurtling back to where it all began - to face the wrath of the families of those she murdered. Kidnapped along with her daughter Christy (Jamie Bernadette-The Furnace), it's a tense game of hunt - or be hunted - against a ruthless gang of degenerates overseen by a violently unhinged matriarch Becky (Maria Olsen-American Horror Story). Some grudges refuse to be buried.
