The euro thriller throwback comes to UK cinemas in July.
Fans of movies that riff on '70s 'Giallo' euro-thrillers are in for a treat in the coming weeks with Peter Strickland's In Fabric opening on June 28th and Yann Gonzalez's Knife + Heart on July 5th.
Set in the Parisian gay porn industry of the late '70s, Knife + Heart stars Vanessa Paradis as a porn producer who struggles to keep her productions afloat amid a spate of killings of porn stars by a mysterious killer.
Shot on 35mm and featuring a throbbing score by M83, Gonzalez's film takes you back to the good old days of sleazy, lurid European grindhouse cinema.

The official synopsis reads:
Following the dramatic breakdown of her relationship with her girlfriend, gay porn producer Anne (Vanessa Paradis) launches herself into her latest and most ambitious film production. But as shooting gets underway, one of her stars is brutally murdered. Soon it becomes terrifyingly clear that a homicidal maniac is intent on bumping off the cast, one by one.
KNIFE + HEART is one of our 10 movies you must see this July.— ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ง๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ฃ.๐๐ ๐ ๐ฌ (@themoviewaffler) June 15, 2019
