Arrow Video have restored the 1965 cult monster movie.
Director William Grefe's 1965 monster movie Sting of Death has the distinction of being the first ever jellyfish monster movie. In the film, a group of students vacationing in the Florida everglades come up against a scientist who transforms himself into a human/jellyfish hybrid.
Newly restored in 2K from the original negative, Arrow Video will premiere their restoration of Sting of Death at the online Fantasia Fest later this month, with a blu-ray release at some point down the road.
