In the 1940s, one of the most popular shows on American radio was 'Inner Sanctum', which hooked the nation with its weekly mystery stories. The show was such a hit that it spawned a big screen series of six films, all telling individual stories and all starring Lon Chaney Jr.
Eureka Entertainment have gathered all six films for Inner Sanctum Mysteries: The Complete Film Series, which sees the series make its UK blu-ray debut on December 7th.
Extras include feature commentaries on three of the movies; Kim Newman on Inner Sanctum; an hour-long making of; a history of the radio series; an archival interview with actor Martin Kosleck; and selection of episodes from the original radio series. The set comes with a collector’s booklet featuring new writing on the series by Craig Ian Mann.
