The horror sequel comes to UK cinemas in November.
Director Yeon Sang-ho's Korean horror hit Train to Busan
breathed some life into the rotting corpse of the zombie genre by confining
its action to the cramped carriages of a high speed train. Now Sang-ho
returns with sequel Peninsula, in which Korea has become an undead infested wasteland.
Gang Dong-won plays a soldier who returns to Korea on a deadly
mission. Lee Jung-hyun, Kwon Hae-hyo, Kim Min-jae, Koo Gyo-hwan, Kim Do-yoon, Lee
Re
and Lee Ye-won also star.
Train to Busan Presents: Peninsula is in UK cinemas from
November 6th, followed by a DVD, blu-ray and digital release on November
30th. The film will have its UK premiere at Celluloid Screams on October
23rd, with special previews over the Halloween weekend.

The official synopsis reads:
Four years after South Korea’s total decimation in TRAIN TO BUSAN, the zombie outbreak thriller that captivated audiences worldwide, acclaimed director Yeon Sang-ho brings us PENINSULA, the next nail-biting chapter in his post-apocalyptic world. Jung-seok (Gang Dong-won), a soldier who previously escaped the diseased wasteland, relives the horror when assigned to a covert operation on the quarantined peninsula with two simple objectives: retrieve and survive. When his team unexpectedly stumbles upon survivors, their lives will depend on whether the best—or worst—of human nature prevails in the direst of circumstances.
