Halloween may have passed but Halloween set horror movies keep appearing. Coming off like a love letter to '80s horrors like The Midnight Hour and The Monster Squad, director Ryan McGonagle's Black Pumpkin plays out its action on October 31st when a pair of kids unwittingly unleash an ancient evil monster known as Bloody Bobby. Dogen Eyeler, Gemma Brooke Allen, Grayson Thorne Patrick, Kamilla Alnes, Ellie Patrikios and Alix Lane star.
Black Pumpkin is on US DVD/Digital from December 8th. A UK/ROI release has yet to be announced.

The official synopsis reads:
On October 31, 2018, two preteens in a small town accidentally awaken an evil that has lain dormant for decades. They are forced to survive through a terrifying Halloween night of cat-and-mouse, from the monster known as "Bloody Bobby".
