Described as "this year's La La Land," director Martin Schreier's Dare to Dream is a Cold War era set romance set against a filmmaking backdrop. Dennis Mojen plays Emil, a young aspiring German filmmaker who falls for French dancer Milou (Emilia Schüle), only for the pair to be torn apart by the erection of the Berlin Wall. Desperate to be reunited with his love, Emil decides to make his own film, casting Milou as its leading lady. The film also stars Svenja Jung and Nikolai Kinski.
Dare to Dream is on UK Digital from December 14th.

The official synopsis reads:
Summer 1961: Emil (Dennis Mojen) is working as an extra on a film set in East Germany when he falls head over heels in love with a French dancer named Milou (Emilia Schüle, Freche Mädchen). The two young lovebirds found their soulmates in each other, but the building of the Berlin Wall soon tears them apart. All odds are against them, until Emil has a crazy idea: directing his own film and bringing back his love.
