The 1970s gave us a series of horror movies featuring the Blind Dead, a
group of undead Knights Templar who return from beyond the grave to wreak
havoc in contemporary Spain.
Director Raffaele Picchio has resurrected the iconic Iberian antagonists
with Curse of the Blind Dead. This one is set in a post-apocalyptic future where the Blind Dead
return to take their revenge against the descendants of the villagers who
executed them back in the 14th century. The film stars Aaron Stielstra, Alice Zanini, Francesca Pellegrini and
Bill Hutchens.
Curse of the Blind Dead is on US DVD and Digital from March
2nd. A UK/ROI release has yet to be announced.
