Normally at this time of year we'd only be a few weeks away from the Cannes
Film Festival, but for 2021 the world's most prestigious film fest has been
rescheduled to July. This year's opening movie has been announced as
Leos Carax's Annette, and we now have a trailer.
Carax's first film since 2012's acclaimed Holy Motors stars
Adam Driver and Marion Cotillard as a much beloved celebrity
couple (he's a comedian, she's a singer) who give birth to a baby girl with
a unique gift. The score has been composed by art-rockers Sparks.
