Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga are back in their now
signature roles of real life paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine
Warren. The third instalment of the Conjuring series,
subtitled 'The Devil Made Me Do It', concerns another real case - that of
Arne Johnson. In 1981, Johnson was tried for murder, but his defence team
insisted he had been subject to demonic possession at the time.
Directed by Michael Chavez, this one also stars Ruairi O’Connor, Sarah Catherine Hook, Julian Hilliard, Charlene
Amoia
and Sterlin Jerins.
The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It is in UK/ROI cinemas
this summer.

The official synopsis reads:
“The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It” reveals a chilling story of terror, murder and unknown evil that shocked even experienced real-life paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. One of the most sensational cases from their files, it starts with a fight for the soul of a young boy, then takes them beyond anything they’d ever seen before, to mark the first time in U.S. history that a murder suspect would claim demonic possession as a defense.
