After his acclaimed British period drama
Phantom Thread, writer/director Paul Thomas Anderson returns to more familiar
California surrounds for Licorice Pizza.
Set in the San Fernando Valley of 1973, the film stars Alana Haim and Cooper Hoffman as a pair of teens coping
with coming of age and falling in love.
Sean Penn, Tom Waits, Bradley Cooper and Benny Safdie also
star.
Licorice Pizza is in US cinemas from November 26th, with a
UK/ROI release date yet to be announced.
