Action-packed comedy sequel
The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard flies straight in at Number
1 on the Official Film Chart, leading on physical sales and with strong
digital download figures.
The “world’s most lethal odd couple” return for a second mission in this
follow-up to 2017’s The Hitman’s Bodyguard. In the film, Bodyguard Michael Bryce (Ryan Reynolds) is forced
back into action by hitman Darius Kincaid’s (Samuel L. Jackson)
wife Sonia (Salma Hayek). The trio soon find themselves wrapped up
in a global plot and discover they’re all that stand between Europe and a
powerful madman…
Further down the Top 10, a boxset of
The Hitman’s Bodyguard and
The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard lands at Number 9.
Meanwhile, horror
The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It holds tight at Number
2, while fantasy adventure Monster Hunter starring
Milla Jovovich, Tony Jaa and Ron Perlman debuts at Number 3,
and is the week’s biggest digital download.

drops to Number 4.

This week’s Official Film Chart online show features a trailer for 1963
psychological drama
The Servant, which has been restored in 4K and re-released in cinemas last week. The
film will be available on disc and digital from 20th September.
