One of last year's most impressive directorial debuts was German
filmmaker Nora Fingscheidt's
System Crasher. For her followup, Fingscheidt makes her English language debut with
The Unforgivable.
Based on the 2009 British miniseries Unforgiven, the film stars Sandra Bullock as a woman trying to get her life back
together after being released from prison for a violent crime.
Vincent D’Onofrio, Jon Bernthal, Richard Thomas, Linda Emond, Aisling
Franciosi, Rob Morgan
and Viola Davis also star.
The Unforgivable is on Netflix from December 10th.

The official synopsis reads:
Released from prison after serving a sentence for a violent crime, Ruth Slater (Sandra Bullock) re-enters a society that refuses to forgive her past.
