Having won the Palme d'Or at Cannes back in 2017 for
The Square, director Ruben Ostlund repeated the feat this year with his latest
satire, Triangle of Sadness.
The film stars Charlbi Dean and Harris Dickinson as a pair of
models who find themselves stranded on a desert island with a bunch of
billionaires when their luxury cruise ship sinks.
Woody Harrelson, Zlatko Burić, Iris Berben, Sunnyi Melles, Henrik Dorsin, Dolly De Leon, Vicki Berlin,
Oliver Ford Davies
and Arvin Kananian also star.
Triangle of Sadness is in UK/ROI cinemas from October
28th.

The official synopsis reads:
Set in the world of world fashion – a satire in which a pair of models find themselves at a crossroads in their careers. Fashion model couple Carl and Yaya are invited on a luxury cruise. When the yacht sinks they become stranded on a desert island with a group of billionaires and a cleaning lady. In the fight for survival, old hierarchies are turned upside down since the cleaning lady is the only one who knows how to fish.
