Clive Barker's
Hellraiser
has seen a series of sequels diminishing in quality. Can director
David Bruckner (The Night House) revive the series? His Hellraiser is pitched as a
reimagining of Barker's original with a young addict coming into possession
of the famous puzzle box and bringing a now female Pinhead (Jamie Clayton) and the rest of the cenobites into the world.
The film also stars Odessa A’zion, Adam Faison, Drew Starkey, Brandon Flynn, Aoife Hinds,
Jason Liles, Yinka Olorunnife, Selina Lo, Zachary Hing, Kit Clarke,
Goran Visnjic
and Hiam Abbass.
In the US Hellraiser will be on Hulu from October 7th.
We've yet to establish whether this means it will be available on Disney+
in the UK/ROI on the same date.

The official synopsis reads:
In “Hellraiser,” a young woman struggling with addiction comes into possession of an ancient puzzle box, unaware that its purpose is to summon the Cenobites, a group of sadistic supernatural beings from another dimension.
