Directed by Shujaat Saudagar, The Underbug uses horror
to examine India's political divisions. Set on the eve of India's
Independence Day, the film follows two men who flee a riot to hide out in an
abandoned house where they find themselves menaced by a supernatural
presence.
The film stars Ali Fazal and Hussain Dalal.
The Underbug will premiere at the Slamdance Film Festival
on January 21st.

The official synopsis reads:
As India is ravaged by sectarian violence on the eve of its Independence Day, two rioters take refuge in an abandoned house. An eerie presence in the house, however, haunts the men to the edge of sanity.
