Martin Scorsese's biopic of boxer Jake La Motta, Raging Bull, has been newly restored in 4K and approved by the director, who
supervised the transfer with editor Thelma Schoonmaker. Written by
Paul Schrader and Mardik Martin, the film stars
Robert De Niro in one of his most acclaimed roles as La Motta, the
troubled pugilist whose violence wasn't confined to the ring.
Joe Pesci and Cathy Moriarty also star.
The new restoration is in UK/ROI cinemas from April 14th.
