Three decades after Posse, writer/director Mario Van Peebles returns to the western genre
with Outlaw Posse. Van Peebles casts himself in the lead role of Chief, a fugitive who
gathers a posse to retrieve the stolen gold he lays claim to.
The cast also includes William Mapother, John Carroll Lynch, D.C Young Fly, Mandela Van
Peebles, Amber Reign Smith, Neil McDonough, Jake Manley, Allen
Payne, Cam Gigandet, M. Emmet Walsh, Edward James Olmos, Cedric the
Entertainer
and Whoopi Goldberg.
Outlaw Posse is in US cinemas from March 1st. A UK/ROI
release has yet to be announced.

The official synopsis reads:
1908. CHIEF (Mario Van Peebles) returns from years of hiding in Mexico to claim stolen gold hidden in the hills of Montana. In his quest, he reunites an ensemble of fresh & familiar faces - together they fight off ANGEL, whose rationale to the gold leaves a trail of deception and dead bodies.
