The latest video game to get a screen adaptation is
Borderlands, courtesy of director Eli Roth (Thanksgiving) and his co-writer Joe Crombie. The film sees
Cate Blanchett play an intergalactic bounty hunter who heads a team
of misfits in a quest to find a missing girl.
Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Edgar Ramírez, Ariana Greenblatt, Florian
Munteanu, Gina Gershon
and Jamie Lee Curtis also star.
Borderlands is in UK/ROI cinemas from August 9th.

The official synopsis reads:
Lilith (Cate Blanchett), an infamous bounty hunter with a mysterious past, reluctantly returns to her home, Pandora, the most chaotic planet in the galaxy.
