Bernardo Bertolucci's 2004 drama
The Dreamers celebrates its 20th anniversary with a new 4K
restoration.
The film stars Eva Green and Louis Garrel as a young Parisian
couple who enter into a complex relationship with the young American (Michael Pitt)
they invite into their apartment. The drama is set against the turbulent
backdrop of the 1968 Paris student riots.
The Dreamers is on UK VOD from April 29th and on 4K UHD and
bluray from May 13th.
Bonus features include two in-depth featurettes; a feature commentary with Bertolucci, writer Gilbert Adair and producer
Jeremy Thomas; interviews with Bertolucci, Green, Pitt, Garrel, Adair and Thomas; b-roll
footage; and the original trailer and 4K remastered trailer. The disc is accompanied
by four exclusive art cards and an A3 print of the film's original
poster.
