Director George Miller returns to the world of Mad Max with
Furiosa, a prequel to Fury Road that sees
Anya Taylor-Joy play a young version of the heroine previously played
by Charlize Theron. The film, which Miller co-wrote with Nico Lathouris, sees a young enslaved Furiosa caught up in a battle between two
tyrants as she tries to make her way home across the wasteland.
Chris Hemsworth, Tom Burke, Alyla Browne, Nathan Jones, Angus Sampson, Quaden Bayles, Daniel Webber and Lachy Hulme also star.
Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga is in cinemas from May 24th.

The official synopsis reads:
Snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers, young Furiosa falls into the hands of a great biker horde led by the warlord Dementus. Sweeping through the Wasteland, they come across the Citadel, presided over by the Immortan Joe. As the two tyrants fight for dominance, Furiosa soon finds herself in a nonstop battle to make her way home.
