Directed by Bruce Wemple and co-written with LeJon Woods,
The Hangman sees a father and son head into the woods of the
Appalachian mountain range for a bonding camping trip. When the latter
disappears, the father finds himself battling a sinister cult who have
summoned a demon known as "The Hangman."
"We set out to tell a story about the lengths a father will go to get his
son back, including coming face to face with a bloodthirsty demon raised
from hell," says Wemple. "We can't wait for audiences to come along for the ride."
The Hangman is in US cinemas from May 31st and on VOD from
June 4th. A UK/ROI release has yet to be announced.
