Ridley Scott returns to Ancient Rome for a belated sequel to his
2000 epic Gladiator. Written by David Scarpa from a story by Scarpa and
Peter Craig, Gladiator II stars Paul Mescal as
Lucius, a young man forced to fight in the Colosseum when his home is
conquered by the Roman empire.
The film also stars Pedro Pascal, Joseph Quinn, Fred Hechinger, Lior Raz, Derek Jacobi,
Connie Nielsen
and Denzel Washington.
Gladiator II is in UK/ROI cinemas from November 15th.

The official synopsis reads:
From legendary director Ridley Scott, Gladiator II continues the epic saga of power, intrigue, and vengeance set in Ancient Rome.
