Writer/director Bernardo Britto is the latest filmmaker to explore the idea of a
protagonist stuck in a time loop, ala Groundhog Day and
Happy Death Day. Omni Loop stars Mary-Louise Parker as a scientist
who finds a black hole growing in her chest. With only a week to live, she
must find a way of escaping the time loop she's stuck in with the aid of
a student (Ayo Edebiri).
The film also stars Hannah Pearl Utt, Chris Witaske, Carlos Jacott, Harris Yulin, Steven
Maier
and Eddie Cahill.
Omni Loop is in US cinemas and on VOD from September 20th.
A UK/ROI release has yet to be announced.
