First look at Brande Roderick's directorial debut.

Former Baywatch star Brande Roderick makes her directorial debut with Wineville, a thriller inspired by the Wineville Chicken Coop Murders, one of California's most infamous true crime cases. The film sees Roderick play a woman who returns to her family's vineyard following the death of the abusive father she fled as a teen. As dark secrets bubble to the surface, more than wine will be spilled.

Written by Richard Schenkman, Wineville also stars Carolyn Hennesy, Texas Battle, Casey King and Keaton Roderick Cadrez.

"Wineville was influenced by 70s horror classics like The Texas Chain Saw Massacre and The Last House on the Left," says Roderick. "I wanted my first feature to be not only in the horror genre that I loved so much growing up, but to also pay homage to the flavour and style of that decade's films that made such an impact on me."

Wineville is in US cinemas from September 6th and on VOD from September 10th. A UK/ROI release has yet to be announced.
