British actress Sophie Thatcher is becoming something of a horror
staple with roles in
The Boogeyman, the upcoming
Heretic
and now Companion. Written and directed by Drew Hancock, Companion has
yet to release any plot details but the first trailer suggests Thatcher
plays a young woman in some sort of strange and abusive relationship with a
young man played by Jack Quaid, though no doubt there's more than
meets the eye here.
The film also stars Lukas Gage, Megan Suri, Harvey Guillén and
Rupert Friend.
Companion is in UK/ROI cinemas from January 10th.
