The official synopsis reads:
Living an idyllic life she never felt entitled to, Grace is suddenly faced with a life-or-death decision that will alter her destiny and that of her young protege, Miki Endo, who is unknowingly intertwined in her journey. Their paths converge in a twisting, thought-provoking adventure that spans from Japan to America, exploring how the clash of East and West can shape one’s life and future. Through Grace’s perspective, the story delves into how our perceptions can uniquely influence our actions, often in ways that are misunderstood.
