New Featurette Explores the Music of A COMPLETE UNKNOWN
Take a look behind the scenes of the musical numbers in A Complete Unknown, inspired by the true story of Bob Dylan.

Having previously told the story of Johnny Cash in Walk the Line, director James Mangold turns his gaze to another American musical icon with A Complete Unknown. The film follows a young Bob Dylan (Timothée Chalamet) as he rises to the top of New York's folk scene in the early 1960s.

Co-written with Jay Cocks, the film also stars Edward Norton, Elle Fanning, Monica Barbaro, Boyd Holbrook, Dan Fogler, Norbert Leo Butz and Scoot McNairy.

A Complete Unknown is in UK/ROI cinemas from January 17th, 2025.

The official synopsis reads:

New York, 1961. Against the backdrop of a vibrant music scene and tumultuous cultural upheaval, an enigmatic 19-year-old from Minnesota arrives with his guitar and revolutionary talent, destined to change the course of American music.
