Writer/director Pablo Absento's feature debut Bloat is
the latest thriller to use the "screenlife" format of having its story play
out entirely on the protagonist's computer desktop screen (see also
Unfriended,
Searching,
Missing
and
Profile). This one stars Ben McKenzie and Bojana Novakovic as parents who try to
find a solution to their young son's possession by a Japanese demon.
Malcolm Fuller, Sawyer Jones and Kane Kosugi also
star.
Bloat is in US cinemas and on VOD from March 7th. A UK/ROI
release has yet to be announced.
