Back in 2021 Netflix dropped the Fear Street trilogy of
interconnected horror movies set in
1994,
1978
and
1666. The latest instalment, Fear Street: Prom Queen, takes place in 1988. Returning to the series' setting of the small town
of Shadyside, the film sees potential prom queen candidates killed off by a
mysterious murderer.
Directed by Matt Palmer and co-written with Donald McLeary,
the movie stars India Fowler, Suzanna Son, Fina Strazza, David Iacono, Ella Rubin, Chris Klein, Ariana Greenblatt, Lily Taylor, Katherine Waterston
and Brennan Clost.
Fear Street: Prom Queen is on Netflix from May 23rd.

Welcome back to Shadyside. In this next installment of the blood-soaked Fear Street franchise, prom season at Shadyside High is underway and the school’s wolfpack of It Girls is busy with its usual sweet and vicious campaigns for the crown.
