Writer/director Samuel Gonzalez Jr (The Retaliators) draws on his own experience as a military veteran with
The Plastic Men. The film stars James Preston as a Vietnam vet whose intense PTSD
leads him towards ending his life until a chance encounter. Gonzalez Jr was inspired by a real life story he stumbled across through
a Craigslist ad placed by a Vietnam vet searching for the woman who saved
him from suicide.
The Plastic Men is on Prime Video from March 11th.
