One of our favourite movies from last year's festival circuit was
Jed Hart's directorial debut Restless. The film stars Lyndsey Marshal as Nicky, whose quiet life is disrupted by the
arrival of noisy neighbour Dean (Aston McAuley). With Dean refusing to turn down his thumping music
and the authorities unwilling to intervene, Nicky takes matters into her
own hands.
Barry Ward, Kate Robbins, Denzel Baidoo and Ciara Ford also
star.
Restless is in UK/ROI cinemas from April 4th.

The official synopsis reads:
RESTLESS is an edge-of-your-seat thriller that explores a topic we’ve all been subjected to in our lives: nasty neighbours. The quiet life of an empty nester is turned upside down in the blink of an eye when hard-partying - and potentially dangerous - new neighbours move in next door.Mild-mannered care home worker Nicky works long hours, and between shifts lives an isolated life listening to classical music and watching snooker. When Dean moves in next door, he shatters her routines with late night parties and music booming through the thin connecting wall. Nicky decides her only option is to confront him - but it quickly becomes clear that violence is a very real possibility. With no help from the authorities or her scared neighbours, Nicky discovers a new side to herself. Desperate for sleep, Nicky begins to take dangerous and increasingly erratic actions which escalate into a full blown war between the two next-door neighbours.
