Aussie Thriller BIRDEATER Gets a UK Release [Trailer/Poster]

Jack Clark and Jim Weir's thriller comes to UK cinemas in May.

The feature debut of writer/directors Jack Clark and Jim Weir, Birdeater stars Shabana Azeez as Irene, who tags along on her fiancé's bachelor party in the Australian outback. Boy is that a recipe for disaster, as the weekend getaway becomes increasingly tense, taking a nightmarish turn fuelled by alcohol and drugs.

The film also stars Mackenzie Fearnley, Ben Hunter, Jack Bannister, Clementine Anderson, Alfie Gledhill and Harley Wilson.

Birdeater is in UK cinemas from May 9th and on UK/ROI VOD from May 6th.

The official synopsis reads:

Recently engaged Irene has been invited to join her fiancé, Louie, and his friends on his bachelor party at an isolated house out in the sticks. As the festivities are plunged into drunken and substance-fuelled chaos, secrets begin to unravel, and the night soon becomes a feral nightmare.
