The directorial debut of Alexandra Chando, The 8th Day takes us back to 1994
and a small town in West Texas. There we find a disparate bunch of
characters all with their eyes on the money held by a local cheque cashing
store. Over the course of eight days their lives will intersect in
variously dramatic ways.
Written by Suzanne Weinert, the film stars Darren Mann, Phoebe Tonkin, Mustafa Speaks, Valerie Mahaffey, Tanner
Beard
and Lindsey Morgan.
The 8th Day is in US cinemas and on VOD from March 14th. A
UK/ROI release has yet to be announced.
