Acclaimed for her music videos and commercial work, director Hala Matar makes her feature debut with Electra. In similar fashion to the recent Opus, Matar's blackly comic thriller, which she co-wrote with Daryl Wein and Paul Sado, sees a pair of journalists travel to the home of a famous musician, only to get more than they bargained for.
The film stars Maria Bakalova, Abigail Cowen, Daryl Wein and Jack Farthing.
Electra is in US cinemas and on VOD from May 2nd. A UK/ROI release has yet to be announced.

The official synopsis reads:
Electra follows two journalists who travel to the lush Italian villa of a famous musician and his partner for an interview, but all is not as it seems and the trip spirals into deceit and deadly betrayals.
