
Director Emmanuel Courcol's The Marching Band has grossed over $18 million in its native France. Co-written with Irène Muscari, the film stars Benjamin Lavernhe as Thibault, a world famous conductor who discovers he was adopted and has a younger brother, Jimmy (Pierre Lottin), a talented trombonist who works in a school cafeteria. Thibault becomes determined to see his brother's musical talent get the recognition it deserves.
The Marching Band is in UK/ROI cinemas from May 16th.

The official synopsis reads:
Thibaut is an internationally renowned conductor who travels the world. When he learns he was adopted, he discovers the existence of a younger brother, Jimmy, who works in a school cafeteria and plays the trombone in a small marching band.
